DINARA-WELWET Project Officially Launches

The DINARA-WELWET project — Strengthening Youth Capacities in Wildlife Conservation Through One Health Initiatives and Virtual Reality Technology — has officially started on 1 January 2026. Co-funded by the European Union under Erasmus+, the project unites nine partners from Türkiye, Czechia, Portugal, Georgia and Ukraine.

Over the next two years, DINARA-WELWET will train more than 500 young people and strengthen over 10 youth organisations, equipping a new generation with the digital and field skills needed to protect biodiversity and advance the One Health approach.

What comes next

The first phase (Months 1–8) focuses on research, capacity building and curriculum development. Stay tuned for updates on training sessions, the establishment of VR training centres and opportunities to get involved.
