About the Project
Modernising youth training in wildlife conservation, veterinary science and One Health through digital innovation.
Project Summary
The DINARA-WELWET project addresses key gaps in youth capacity, digital skills, and employability in wildlife conservation, veterinary science, and One Health in Georgia and Ukraine. Despite growing demand for professionals in biosecurity, biodiversity monitoring, and zoonotic disease prevention, young people face limited access to modern training, hands-on experience, and clear career pathways — reducing their impact in conservation and public health.
The project introduces an innovative, practice-oriented approach using VR-based training, AI-driven wildlife monitoring, digital biosecurity tools, and ecosystem restoration methods. It aligns with Erasmus+, the EU Youth Strategy, and the European Green Deal.
DINARA-WELWET will train 500+ young people and strengthen 10+ youth organisations with advanced tools, interdisciplinary skills, and green entrepreneurship pathways. It promotes youth leadership in biodiversity protection, climate resilience, and One Health — ensuring long-term impact by bridging education, policy, and employment.
